PSU Recruitment through GATE 2020: PSU or public sector undertakings are the jobs that are owned by the state or central or union government. PSU Recruitment through GATE 2020 : Maharana are a group of companies that are at the top of the PSU or public sector undertakings company. These companies can invest up to 5000 crores in foreign exchange without taking permission from the government. Navratan status of a company is given by the department of public enterprises. For getting Navratan status, companies should scale 60 out of 100.

PSU jobs are categorized into three groups that are group a, group b, group that provides jobs at the post of manager, executives, head, engineer, clerk, trainee, technicians, etc. The minimum age limit for PSU jobs is 18 years. Eligible candidates can apply for PSU jobs.

Companies such as NTPC, ONGC, SAIL, HPCL, BHEL, BPCL, CIL, BSNL, MTNL, AAI, HAL, EIL, BEML, BDL, BCCL, BPCL, and IOCC, etc… are few examples of companies which come under PSU jobs.

Why GATE is So Important: Gate stands for graduate aptitude test engineering. It is a national level examination conducted for engineering students. Eligibility and other details of GATE

Students who are eligible to give gate exam are as follow:-

Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering / Technology / Architecture (4 years after 10+2/ Post-B.Sc./ Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year students.

Fees details:-

• For Indian  candidate (gn):- ₹1500
• For sc, st, female and differently-abled:- ₹750
• Foreign candidates fees is:- us $ 50

Exam conducted:-

Once in a year (usually conducted in February)

Score validity:-

3 years.

No. of students applying every year:-

The total no. of students who have applied for gate in the year of 2020 is around 858,898 students.

GATE 2020 : Gate 2020 was conducted on 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, of February 2020. And the result were declared on 13th of March. Students can check their performance on the official website of gate. And the score card was released on 19th of March. Students can check the result by login through their user id and password on official website till 1st May 2020. If they want soft copy of the score card, they can submit ₹500 and get it by 31 December 2020.
The counseling process will start on 29 April 2020. Student who wants to pursue MSc degrees can apply.

Procedure for applying for GATE : Students who are willing to apply for the gate can apply through the official website by filling up the required details like name, signature, photo, and all other basic information. They also need to submit the application fee and register themselves. GATE will not only help in getting a good college for your masters but also be useful in getting good jobs.

PSU through GATE 2020 :Before applying for any company, First of all you need to check the details of the job and it’s eligibility criteria such as age limit, cutoff score or any further requirements.

Some PSU companies directly recruit while others not. Some companies may shortlist on the basis of gate score and then take a round of interview and test further. For applying in PSU companies , all you need to do is fill their application form with application fee if required. And companies would ask your registration details. You can give your registration details from your gate admit card. And companies would then shortlist the eligible people and inform you.

Candidates who have cleared gate this appear as well previous year qualified candidates can apply for PSU recruitment. Gate score is valid for 3 years. But, it might be possible that some companies would prefer to take freshers.

Also, companies like NTC, TPRCL, OPGC, KRCL, BNPM, GSECL, KRIBHCO, Coal India, and EdCIL, etc are some of the companies which have not released its application form yet. Many companies have postponed their interview programs due to the corona virus. So, who haven’t still applied for any company need not be stressed.there are many companies left over which are good enough. But, start getting and collecting information about the jobs if you want to be recruited in any of the PSU companies.
